Good stuff. The main cast are all original characters, but they're good ones. Lotta feelz, almost too much tbh, but the author is good at writing in such a way as you don't realize it in the moment and they give breathing room too. My only real mark against the writing quality is that sometimes paragraphs get doubled and sometimes the italics or bold font don't get turned off, very minor, I'd only knock off half a star or something if I could.
