Hello everyone! I am a budding dark fantasy author and mangaka from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. As an otaku, I grew up on mainstream shounen and I wanted to craft a story that drew elements from it but with darker themes that cater to a more mature/seinen audience. Kazuo's Revenge [KR], the first book in a two-part series, is inspired by some of my favourite anime, manga and fantasy novels. My major mangaka influences are Hajime Isayama, Masashi Kishimoto, Gege Akutami, Hirohiko Araki, Noriaki Kubo and Kentaro Miura. KR is set in an alternate Japan during the early Meiji period with most of the prefectures, places, and some landmarks renamed. In the land of Nihon, each village/country has its own set of governing rules/systems, leaders and enforcers set up to ensure that those rules are followed by the masses. KR is an action packed and fast-paced dark fantasy seinen novel. It's got adventure, character development, a cool magic system, world-building, plot twists, betrayals and a bit of comedy/romance. Book one is already done and I've only uploaded the first 30/40 chapters. As I do the editing with some an editor, I am also working working on the second and final installment of the series. A great work, that seems to not suffer from AFS (Araki Forgot Syndrome). While the line between side arcs and the main arc is blurred to the point where they feel as though they've switched places, it doesn't feel out of place. The Nobel's comedy is reminiscent of Korean and Japanese WN/LN humour, with pop culture references abound.

I like it, but it needs more releases, translator hurry up bro, I'm on mtl rn having brain damage because this is nowhere near the latest...btw one of the mtl line I read was. "Nisienji Ito, you are the sinner of all of us Sakura Chinese. It is even more abominable than Kenichi Araki. Why don't you give me a semen to apologize?" 💀💀💀 Anyways your brain learns to adapt and filter and retranslate the meaning like ("sakura Chinese" is literally just those Japanese, "Beautiful country" is USA) yeah this gives me a stroke fr.
