Having read a bunch of fanfics, I've categorised them into 4 groups. Shitty wish fulfillment jerkfest(usually Self inserts) Is good but a chore to read (crack fics go here) Amazingly well written but forgettable story(Shinobi RPG) Something you've never read before so its intriguing. This story is basically 1 and 3. If that wasn't bad enough it's a pain in the ass to read half the time and you end up just skipping. I know I should lower my expectations for fanfics but when something like "My Trans-Dimensional, Overpowered Protagonist, Harem Comedy is Wrong!" Or Forget The Alamo, exist it's really fucking hard.
