issei x raynare fanfiction

Author tried too hard to keep things close to canon that it became illogical. Issei was maou level at the beginning which makes joining rias completely nonsensical. Then there’s making him dense, in fact issei wasn’t dense in og he was just traumatized by raynare. But author changed raynare here and made her good which means issei didn’t have that trauma here at all.

It's good at the beginning when Erik is still the mc then the dxd canon cane and *PUFF* Erik became issei's plot armor and like every fanfiction, I read with issei on it the author is a simp for issei like issei this issei that, issei is not even a likable character but oh well author wants author do😒

I read until the 5th chapter and could't go further I liked the way the author writes but I have a few problems with this ff The author showed some signs of favouritism in the way the MC treats certain characters Alex(MC) With Rias the author some how made her a bitch, yes in the original series she was annoying and complained a lot in the first volumes although she didn't try that hard but she was never a control freak that wanted to decide how her pawn lives I have no complains about Sona , Akeno , Koneko and Kiba tho koneko is attached to MC. My problem is the way Alex treats Issei and Raynare, Issei is getting a hit every time he speaks I know he is annoying but not to that point it's the same issue with Rias the author gives a good reason why he hates Issei saying that it's because of his perverted actions BUT RAYNARE is treated with respect and becomes his servant. Basically Raynare tries to kill the MC and he captures her and hands her to The Satans who contact Azazel who punishes her by becoming MC's slave fair enough right ? The problem is that Alex clearly hates arrogant manipulative people but for some reason he respects Raynare who is the embodiment of what he hates and what caused his horrible childhood she has been seen as overconfident and tends to look down anyone who is inferior to her She had also demonstrated herself to be a coward at the most desperate moments. HE EVEN DEFENDS HER FROM ISSEI WHO HATES HER BECAUSE SHE KILLED HIM THE GIVES A VAGUE REASON SAYIN SHE HAD A TOUGH CHILDHOOD BUT THAT DOSEN'T JUSTIFY HER ACTIONS. Other than that the author overestimates Grayfia's power and made Asia attached to Issei for no reason.
