forty seven the gulk versus damon the beast slayer

The main plot of the seventh chapter of Journey to the West was that Wukong was caught by Taishang Laojun with a Vajra suit after a battle between Wukong and Erlang Shen. He was tied to the demon-subduing pillar and could not be hurt by knives, axes, thunder, and fire. He was put into the Eight Trigrams Furnace for 49 days. Because he hid under the Xun Palace, he had developed fiery eyes and golden eyes through smoke. After coming out of the furnace, he made a mess in the Heavenly Palace. The immortals could not resist him. The Jade Emperor had no choice but to ask Tathagata for help. Tathagata made a bet with Wukong. Wukong thought he had jumped out of his palm, but unexpectedly, he was still in Tathagata's palm and was finally pressed under the Five Elements Mountain. The forty-seventh chapter tells the story of Tang Sanzang and his disciples who were unable to cross the Tongtian River. They saw the village by the river doing something. It turned out that they wanted to offer boys and girls to the monsters in the river. Sun Wukong and Zhu Bajie turned into boys and girls respectively to replace the children of the Chen family. In the previous story of Che Chiguo, the king was bewitched by the Demonic Priest, and Tang Sanzang and his disciples continued to travel west to this place after eliminating the demon. Read more exciting novels for free

At the age of 40, Du Mu wrote "Book of Thoughts":"The green mountains in my eyes have not passed, and there is no hair in the mirror. I only say that there is nothing to do when I am old, but there are more things to do when I am middle-aged." This was a seven-character poem that reflected the state of mind of a forty-year-old. It expressed the fact that although the career seemed to have reached maturity at the age of forty, there were old and young people at the top, and there were many worldly affairs that made it difficult for him to have time to relax. There was also a song called "Forty No Doubts":"Teaching and learning are mutually beneficial, but they are not long. Vulgar slang is not a chapter." The spirit of the scholar is sour, stupid and rotten, and the lofty sentiments of Yan Fu are almost exhausted. It is difficult to fulfill the ambition of pine and cypress with poor talent, and the fragrance of laurel and orchid is not good with lazy virtue. All these years I've been so busy that I've become dull, and my beard and temples have turned white." This poem expressed the feelings of a person reaching forty in terms of personal growth, talent, morality, ambition, etc., such as feeling that although he had experienced many years, he had not made much progress in teaching and learning, and that he was lacking in talent and morality. As time passed, he only left behind the feeling of mediocrity. "A Woman in Her Forties" is equally exciting. Everyone is welcome to click and read it!
