Is the Gate of Cassel fun?Whether or not 'Gate of Cassel' was fun was a subjective judgment. Judging from the game's characteristics, it had some attractive aspects.
Its background setting was very attractive. It constructed a mysterious mixed-race world, in which dragons were powerful and mysterious, posing a huge threat to humans. Kassel Academy was a fortress against the dragons, and the players started the story together as new students and classic characters, which could give fans of the " Dragon Race " novel a strong sense of immersion.
In terms of gameplay, this was a mobile RPG card game that used turn-based combat. Players needed to obtain characters by drawing cards, and train the characters through leveling up, character bloodline, and character star leveling. They also needed to carefully match the lineup, which provided the players with the fun of strategic planning.
However, there were some factors that could affect the player's experience. For example, for players who did not spend money, the third, sixth, and tenth levels of each chapter were more difficult. Moreover, there might be forced spending in the game, which might affect the enjoyment of some players.
In general, if you liked the Dragon Clan series and were interested in turn-based card RPG games, and didn't mind the possible pressure of spending money, you might think that the Gate of Cassel was fun. On the contrary, you might find the game experience not good.
