Go to Changbai Mountain nowThe strategy for Changbai Mountain is as follows:
** 1. Scenic Area Selection **
1. ** West Slope **
- ** Transportation **: Close to the airport, 2.5 hours drive from the distribution center to the top of the slope.
- ** View of the Heavenly Lake **: The panoramic view of the Heavenly Lake is good. There is only one scenic spot, the Heavenly Lake. There are no other small scenic spots.
- [Stamina Requirement: You need to climb more than 1400 steps. It's quite tiring.]
- ** Hotel recommendations **: You can stay in the Wanda and Luneng Resort (convenient for ski).
- ** Drifting recommendation **: The first drifter in the original ecology.
2. ** North Slope **
- ** Transportation **: Close to the high-speed railway station, 0.5h drive from the distribution center to the top of the slope.
- ** View of Heavenly Lake **: 2/3 panoramic view. The view is not as good as the west slope, but other than Heavenly Lake, there are five scenic spots: Changbai Mountain Waterfall, Julong Spring, Green Abyss Pool, Small Heavenly Lake, and the forest at the bottom of the valley.
- [Physical Strength Requirement: Climbing the Heavenly Lake is not as tiring as climbing the western slope.]
- ** Hotel recommendations **: Erdaobaihe Town (You can go to Edelweiss Park on the way).
- ** Drifting recommendation **: Drifting in the Great Spring River.
- ** Target group **: If you are bringing the elderly and children, don't want to be too tired, and don't have to see the Heavenly Lake, I recommend going to the North Slope. If the Heavenly Lake is not open, you can still visit other scenic spots.
** 2. Purchasing tickets **
1. ** ticketing platform **: Changbai Mountain ticketing platform.
2. ** Time to purchase tickets **: You need to purchase one week in advance.
3. ** Fare **: 225 yuan for the northern scenic area, 80 yuan for the Heavenly Lake (purchased separately).
4. ** Buying advice **: Buy tickets for the Northern Scenic Area at different times. Try to buy the earliest one because the Heavenly Lake may still be open in the morning. If you come late, it will close. If you have enough time, you can buy tickets for two more days. When it is open, you can go. If you don't go, you can apply for a refund. If the Tianchi Lake is not open on that day, you can apply for a refund of 80 yuan for the Tianchi Lake ticket.
** 3. North Slope Tour Guide **
1. ** Attractions Tour Order **
- You can take a bus to the North Slope distribution center, get off the bus, and walk (you can also choose to take a snowmobile, 50 yuan/person, cost-effective, you can sit on it and walk down) to the Changbai Mountain waterfall. On the way, you can buy hot spring eggs (3/10 yuan), ginseng milk (25 yuan), sausage (10 yuan), etc.
- After going back the way he came, he took a bus to the Small Heavenly Lake, the Green Abyss Lake, and the Dragon Gathering Spring. Then, he took a bus to the Valley Forest. It was recommended to leave more time for the Valley Forest. There were two observation platforms (a stream and a cliff stream) that were worth visiting at the end of the underground forest.
** 4. Other precautions **
1. [Bring food: You don't have to bring a lot of food. Food is sold at various attractions.]
2. [Item preparation: Make sure to wear sunglasses. The wind is strong on the mountain. Wear a scarf and a mask.]
3. ** Tianchi related **: You need to buy a ticket two to three days in advance to go to the Heavenly Lake of Changbai Mountain. There is probably no time on the day. Umbrella is not allowed on the main peak of the Heavenly Lake. Smoking is not allowed all year round. It is best to prepare a disposable raincoat.
4. ** Local Experience **
- You can experience the traditional folk customs of the Korean and Manchu ethnic groups, such as making cakes, spicy cabbage, cold noodles, seaweed rice, and other Korean folk customs, and watch Korean song and dance performances.
- In Erdaobaihe, you can go to Edelweiss Park to interact with reindeers.
- In winter, you can experience rime rafting, snow rafting, ski, hot spring and other events.
- In Yanji, you can go to the North Korean Folk Village to experience traditional architecture and folk customs, and you can also take a stroll in the snow mountains.
5. ** Scenic Area Transportation **: The scenic area is under closed management, and tourists are not allowed to drive into the scenic area by themselves. They must take eco-friendly buses to and from various scenic spots.
6. ** Shopping Guide **: There are ginseng, fungus, ganoderma lucidum, bracken, schisandrin, wild walnuts, indigo dried fruit and other specialties in the Changbai Mountain area. If you don't know about ginseng and other precious medicinal herbs, don't blindly buy them.
