In Witch 2, the sisters couldn't simply be defined as the bad guys. From the plot point of view, the older sister, Ju Ziyun (played by Jin Duomei), in the first movie, was trying to escape from the laboratory and find a way to survive (she needed to find her mother for a bone marrow transplant to get rid of her reliance on drugs to sustain her life). She carried out a series of actions in the process, but it was more for her own survival and to find her family. Her sister, Shen Shiya, played the role of the second-generation witch. After escaping from the laboratory, she was hunted down by all walks of life. However, she did not show any malicious behavior that actively hurt innocent people. She only showed her powerful ability in the face of hunting and in the process of protecting herself and her sister. Their behavior was more based on their own situation, such as being controlled by the laboratory, being hunted down, etc., and they made self-protection and resistance, rather than being purely malicious bad people in the traditional sense.
