"You're late," he said, without turning.
Lydia smirked and let the door swing shut behind her with a solid thud. "By exactly two minutes. Hardly a capital offense."
"Two minutes," he repeated. "Do you even know what I could do to you in that time?" He finally turned to face her and the moment his eyes landed on her, they changed. The look he gave her made her legs unsteady.
Her breath caught in her throat. "Enlighten me."
He stopped just inches away. Close enough she could smell him. He didn't touch her but somehow she could already feel his hands and mouth like they were everywhere.
"I could have you up against this wall," he said slowly, eyes fixed on hers. "Your dress on the floor. My hand on your throat. And your mouth too busy moaning my name."
Lydia squeezed her thighs together, her breathing catching. She was already warm all over, the ache building fast. And like he could feel it, Ethan reached up, brushing one finger along the strap of her dress. She shivered.
The strap slid down her shoulder. Than the other. The dress slid down her body without resistance, looking at her feet. She didn't try to catch it. She just stood there, bare and breathing hard, her breast rising with each inhale.
Ethan's eyes moved over her slowly. "Easy," he said under his breath.
Lydia tilted her head and gave the faintest smile. "I'm good at following instructions." She tugged lightly at the hem of his shirt. "Can't say the same for you."
