It was chilling. The tape recording idea was incredibly immersive. And slow buildup of horror kept me hooked the whole time. The concept of a parasitic frequency turning people into “receivers” is really creative and disturbing in the best way. Great work would love to read more stories like this

I'm going to preface this by saying that I've only read up to chapter 39, but this novel is a mess. In these chapters, we have seen almost nothing of what was described in the synopsis, but instead, a completely made up horror event. In order to even get to this other world where the MC can start on his journey, he has to pass a test, which is administered by a company. The test is, in simple terms, basically just some horror game. He suddenly writes about a horror story taking place in a mental asylum in which the new recruits must escape in order to "prove themselves". And then it's just a slog of horror elements and characters acting in all sorts of weird manners (even before their possession). It feels like the author had ideas for multiple novels and wanted to just mash them all up together. I glanced ahead through the chapter titles, and it looks as though the test doesn't even end until about chapter 80, which is in the paid chapters. So essentially these 'free' chapters aren't even giving you a taste of what the novel could be, because all of them are spent writing a completely different novel.
