It started out decent he's kind of just a background character and he doesn't change anything but it was still good enough to read but then at chapter 33 he gets into a completely forced and useless relationship With Madison the werewolf girl and he completely leaves supernatural to spend 20 full chapters in a copy paste of the Stephen King movie The Mist. And then he doesn't get back till the very end of season 2 after the roadhouse gets destroyed this is the point where I stopped reading because I realized the author is not going to change supernatural cannon at all and this is just a glorified copy paste
