Im glad you gave a warning for the first chapter but I was still not prepared for the horror. Very graphic and her in the hospital after was breaking my heart break. As an SA survivor I felt this all too deeply.

Austin's evolution from friend to menace is gradual and brilliantly executed. The other characters, though they have less screen time, fulfill their purpose of showing us the group dynamics. The final rooftop scene is heartbreaking. The fact that Daniel can never find the place again adds an extra layer of existential horror.
