if the story is with a female protagonist then why is the title male? "the survivor to understand that it would be a man, it would be better to write the survivor in the feminine.

Survivor doesn't define one's ***. If you have seen the show you would know Katherine Pierce is a Survivor.. actually The Survivor. She is like the definition of it.
I don't know if it's a translation problem, but here when I see the title, "survivor" is in the male genre, if female focus there would be an "a" before the word survivor, that's what I meant by a confused title.
in English it doesnt matter what comes first it isnt a gendered word if that makes sense?
so it is quite possible that it is a problem when switching from one language to another really.
