I loved arc 1, reminded me of scholastic books like Rowan of Rin but with more blood! I am used to more comedy in these kinds of webnovels so it was nice to just be a straight plot with a clear objective and the chapter 1 teaser for book two has me hooked. Chinese Culture is something I am learning about from this novel. It makes the literally qualities of China something fun to learn about and if there was a child appropriate version I would recommend it being an option for an elementary school kids assigned reading booklist, maybe a scholastic book fair type thing?
