As soon as Leng San woke up in the middle of an unknown forest, he became stupefied. His grandfather, his Leng Clan, and the clan’s enemy, the Asuras, that were fighting against each other were all gone. Moreover, once he circulated qi in his body, he found that his qi was decreased to the first level of the violet stage, which was the lowest level! At the moment, Leng San was no different from an ordinary boy. without qi, he was extremely in despair. As Leng San was the only hope of the Leng Clan, his grandfather had to send him through time to 1,500 years in the future, in order to completely escape from the pursuing of the Asuras. If the grandfather did not decrease Leng San’s qi to the lowest level, he might not be able to time travel and eventually get killed. Leng San must practice his skills to be stronger, to eradicate the Asuras and restore Leng Clan again. A new life awaited for Leng San at the end of the tunnel, he must do this!
I wouldn't recommend novel for people to read. I guess this is authors first novel, cause inexperience is felt while reading this. While premise could be interesting, lack of any research about america and police give novel too many defects at start. e.g. crossing the border with mexico while vaulting over the fence/wall (most of us mexican border in 2003 didnt have fence/wall and texas-mexican border is river), also promotion to detective just cause of good combat skills, or detectives having uniforms. Also instead of Sherlock type of detective, you get a Rambo in a police.
