As the main antagonist who successfully survived until the end of the story, Arnold Simmons was ruthless, dark, and violent. In his eyes, Hannah appeared to be the most naive woman he had ever encountered, her thoughts consumed solely by love. Witnessing her continuous deception by those around her, Arnold eventually reached a breaking point and seized her, declaring, "Stay by my side; let me handle your tasks."

The story is good, but in my opinion, the MC is too goody-goody. In chapter 63, why would he announce himself as a vampire and let the people live? I was literally shocked when he announced himself. Then I thought, 'Oh, the MC is on the path of "Dead men tell no tales"', but then he only killed the commander. OK, I could understand him letting his friends live, but not his enemies, especially after announcing himself.
