jrpg with the best story

I haven't read the novel yet due to time constraints, but I just wanted to (since it's not mentioned in the Synopsis) point out for anyone wondering, that the cover used is fanart for the JRPG Persona 5 :)

It's worth giving a try. Even if you haven't interacted with anything about Trails(A JRPG from what I understand) you can enjoy it as well as the author and readers post pictures of characters and items. Fun times!

holy walls of text, this is some next level JRPG description type walls of text. half of the issue with this is the huge walls of text that add nothing to the story, short concise descriptions for skills is the way to go, along with spell checking literally everything. the grammar (surprisingly) isn't absolutely horrible but the spelling is almost worse than a primary students essay. great premise for a story but horrible execution

One of the best novels on the platform, including a real ending. While this is not obvious at first, Legendary Mechanic is actually a space opera in the dressing of isekai. Like A JRPG, the scale gets bigger and bigger (country, planet, star system, galaxy, universe) until the entire universe is involved by the end. The isekai element usually receives mixed treatment at best in most stories, but I think it is handled here at least better than others: it's folded into the greater plot rather than waved off as a mysterious fated event nor is it played for laughs. If you're like me and wonder if the ending is done well, the overall story has a coherent narrative, and has a main character that is not just a lucky idiot, this story will pay off for you.
