breath of the wild story
After a traumatizing experience, Lucinda Perry has spent most of her life shying away from people, relationships, and anything remotely wild. But when the overachieving introvert finally lands the long-awaited promotion just days before her birthday, she vows to break her own rules for once. Her goal? To let loose, live a little, and maybe even tick off the boldest item on her “dare-to-do” list: a one-night stand. A new city. A new beginning. And a birthday night that doesn’t go quite as planned. At a downtown club, Lucinda meets Thomas Hank, a dangerously charming stranger who seems to read her like an open book. Tom is determined to change her mind.
Really just such an entertaining story. The story is fast paced and exciting with a lot of really sweet and happy moments mixed in. Though it has its times where it slows down, it feels more like those times are there for us to catch our breath from a wild ride. It really is a fun read.
