I actually don't have much complain as this novel is actually quite good but Mr.Author i suggest you to research about the use of word and commas because sometimes there are sentences that need commas but you did not use it for example " Without intending to Irina's affection towards me rose greatly that day " if you wrote it like this " Without intending to, irina's affection toward me rose greatly that day " the other reader will have more easier to read your novel.
