Thoroughly Enjoyed the novel.great build up. However I didn’t like the pairing of Astron with Irina .. that almost make me give up reading. Irina does not deserve him and I was surprised that Astron chose her instead as being the one who can perceive n read characters. basically as soon as Mc goes to kuoh author starts writing out his rias simp arc and ATM Mc is babysitting her, author tries to balance it out but is kinda bad at it. Author criticises people for not liking rias and naming her faults before asking why we hate her then goes and excludes goddess Irina for no reason other than he doesn't like her, what do you not like, you basically fused Irina and someone else into Irina minus the god part lol

As of ch. 1300: So far, this has been an enjoyable read. The pacing and translation quality are good. I found myself laughing at many of Amy's interactions with the other side characters. Overall, there is not much to complain about except one very big issue imo (not the nationalistic tones somewhat sprinkled throughout the story). SPOILER!!! My main gripe with this novel is the distinction between Shen Mag and Mag Alex and how this clear distinction works in the plot concerning Irina. It was made clear over and over again that the MC had 0 memories of Irina and that Mag would be Mag, NOT Alex. The author makes sure there is this distinction by constantly reminding the reader through either Mag's own monologues or other characters' thoughts. It is because of this I find it extremely weird that Mag and Irina almost instantly get back together and hit it off like nothing changed. I would've liked the romance to be a slow burner type as Irina falls in love with the new Mag. Instead, because it was so quick, it felt like Irina is in love just with the concept of Alex even though the story doesn't say so. It is also very disappointing that Mag doesn't tell her that he isn't entirely the person she knew anymore. Other than that, I found Mag and Irina to be super cute together. I just hope that Mag x Irina doesn't become the focal point of the story (Godly Stay Home Dad) and the story stays around Mag and Amy.
