Chinese Culture is something I am learning about from this novel. It makes the literally qualities of China something fun to learn about and if there was a child appropriate version I would recommend it being an option for an elementary school kids assigned reading booklist, maybe a scholastic book fair type thing? We need more books teaching children about other cultures and being educative and fun at the same time. Thumbs up.
