This novel has a very nice plot. Reading the first chapters will make readers hooked to it. At least, for me. Setting is soooo beautiful. While reading, one can imagine the surroundings - gently rolling hills, meandering streams, lush woodlands, green valleys, majestic mountains, meadows, fields, ancient cities, idylic villages, etc. Magic and fighting skills (bare hands and with weaponries) are fused together. Powers are well defined. Interesting characters, though, of course nobody is perfect. Sometimes MC becomes shallow with sliver of idiocy but forgivable. There are hints of friendship, family love, romance, betrayal, vengeance, gratuity, greediness, failures and salvation. Twists are present. Personally, this novel lacks strategies as present in other novels as the MC comes from a humble family with no solid background in literature, military, espionage, etc. English is good unlike other novels. Some errors are present in names of persons, sects... Overall, this novel is worth reading and one of my favorite novels so far.
