On Father's Day last year, my siblings and I pooled our money together to buy my dad a new watch. He had been using the same old watch for years. When we gave it to him, he was so surprised. He immediately put it on and showed it off to our neighbors. That day, we also had a big family barbecue in the backyard. We played games, laughed a lot, and it was a day full of love and celebration for my dad.

Then, they can create characters based on themselves and their father. Next, they should think of a plot, like how they overcame a problem together. Finally, they can write it down in simple words and add some pictures if they like.
