if you like Battletech, Macross, or gundam you will love this novel. Ves is a character that is easy to like and has a personality that many of us can relate to. the world features mechs of every type from gundam style humanoids to zoid style animals with a good dash of mechs that would easily fight in the battletech/mechwarrior universe. all in all this is a great read.
