environmental disaster fiction book

This review is based on the free chapters. It's an environmental/disaster apocalypse story, centered around the MC Anna and her friends. The story was okay, but there were some parts that I felt were confusing or unreasonable. I didn't understand how the power was still on when the 1st floor was flooded. Cut off would be immediate, I'd assume. I thought the grammar would get better as the chapters continue on, but it didn't. This story didn't resonate with me.

I havent read it yet but its next to my list 🤫😍 Disaster Risk Reduction- a proactive approach that aims to manage risks before a calamity occurs Exposure and Vulnerability Vulnerability- susceptibility to risk or damage Elements at Risk- persons, buildings, crops, and other components exposed to known disaster hazards and which are likely to be adversely affected by these hazards Different Types of Vulnerabilities Physical Vulnerability- the “human-made environment” are the buildings and infrastructures, and the “natural environment” are the agriculture, forestry, and aquaculture Affecting factors • Geographic pattern of the severity of hazards • Exposure of the elements to hazards • Geological, environmental characteristics of the community • Effects of local conditions Social Vulnerability- the susceptibility of the population that ensure the sustenance of the families, communities, and society Affecting factors • Special categories • Education attainment • Knowledge, awareness • Location, type of housing • Population density • Perception of risk • Values and traditions • Lack of local institution Economic Vulnerability- the assets and resources of the community that are susceptible to disasters, including the production, distribution, and utilization of goods and services that ensure the people’s well-being Affecting factors • Sources of livelihood • Community resources • Household income and savings

I love this book so far the MC is developing at a decent rate and the environmental storytelling is good but could use some improvement also the concept looks weird at first but is actually interesting with countless opportunities.

Nice book, good storyline, I commend the writer. I love your characters and their environmental description, it makes me want to read more of it. Please send more updates author, I will be waiting.
