As an ethnically Chinese reader who has read tons of web novels in Chinese, I can promise that this book will blow your mind. I have got to around 1800 chapter(in Chinese of course), and the story development only gets better. The first 439 chapters(the first volume)are only slightly above average among other web novels, and I can say that because I have read so many of them, but after that the story transcends to an entirely new level. (In fact, in the comment section of the chinese site many readers complained about how cliche the first volume was)
