This novel is great. I love the fact that the in-game scenes tend to be sprinkled with real life historical characters and there is some measure historical accuracy. Of course with artistic license taken about the scenario. This shows the author really did his research. I also love that all the MC’s skills are real world skills that is anyone practiced long enough, they could reach his level. I also like that all supernatural occurrences can be explained by game items. The idea of a proxy war between old gods and new gods kind of reminds me of Neil Gaiman’s novel, American Gods. I suspect the author was inspired by it. I’m also really loving the Easter eggs he hides in the story. To the author: You rock! Keep up the great work!
