Eventhough the story progressed so far the MC is still power hungry despite the concept of individuality being interduced. The sad part of this whole thing is that he doesn't make use of the knowledge of earth be it from science to fiction to philosophie despite philosophie or philosophical thought experiment being rather useful for the individuality. The novel in it's own right is good and well written but the part of individuality, his love life and being someone from earth is rather poorly executed.
