characteristics of the 19th century english novel

In this novel there will be short stories about merchants, they are connected with the Silk Road. There are some of the modern stories ... of the 20th century ... some are related to the "Big Game". Well, trade was inevitably associated with the "Big Road" as the younger brother KIM from the novel of the same name spoke.
