I have read through chp 25, and I hate the husband-professor-boss. He is cruel & abusive to the FL, uses threats to her mother & brother to force her to stay, forces himself on her when he wants, berates her publically while papering over the problem privately. For example, she is late to class (5 min) because her bicycle crashed (why couldn't her husband give her a ride to school?), so he throws her out of class and refuses to accept her work, but the next day he calls her to his office and has her clandestinely sign the list of people who turned in the assignment.
