the book is great so far, I read the chapters as soon as I see them. The main character is realistic and consistent even if it makes me complaint about some of his outbursts. I like that even though he has future technological knowledge it is balanced and not like he is a walking encyclopedia that can solve all issues with technology. so far the battle tactics/strategy is good with smart use of entrenchment and terrain but I would like to see some war wagons added for some added mobility (mobility as in mobile fortifications not necessarily during a battle) and logistics while helping with defensive/positional battles. plus I think it would suit his men who have not had a lifetime of training and discipline to fight off horsemen. especially if he frees more slaves to add to his company since they should have high morale but poor skills similar to the hussites peasents who defeated heavily armored knights. in the end though it's your novel and I trust you to keep writing an interesting story
