I have been waiting for stories about Rome during this era and you have not dissapointed, I also really like the idea of the Roman Republic enduring since Julius Caesar did not "really" intend to turn it into an empire in the first place. I am also looking forward to any wars, like Caesar conquering Gaul or Britain, and hopefully seeing the protagonist going with Julius Caesar on those expeditions. This is currently one of my favorite fics along with "The path of the Basileus" and I hope you continue this for story. 🥳😎

I’m well into the story and I can say as the book goes on it just gets worst, the fight scenes are CHAPTHERS long, the author describes every single person fighting name, what weapon they’re using and power. So image he’s fighting 11 ppl at once that 11 descriptions for characters that are going to be killed off or never seen again. Now we’re to a point he’s letting his enemies go or just having a long conversation with them. I literally just skipped over have the chapters or whole chapters entirely because they were pointless. Why have 3 chapters about Julius Caesar?
