anime cliches story

it's a pretty poor story overall. it has many very lame anime cliches and there's basically no story development. it's a shame because it has so much potential.

I can't tell if the novel is intentionally an Anime Trope or the large amount of cliches are coincidental. The dialogue is very basic. There's no depth in the story or character development that you couldn't have predicted in Middle School. If any have read/listened to "The Anime Trope System: Stone vs Viper" than there's no reason to read this. Unless cliches tickle your fancy. There are some cute n funny moments though.

Not a novel but a collection of tropes and cliches reminiscent of anime and light novels, it is as if the author thought ''this looks cool let me add it'' because the author breaks the rules they set in the novel

At first I didn’t expect this novel to be a good one after watching anime version. But after reading some comment I give this a try and although there are many cliches and same normal trope as other Chinese novel this is much much better than anime. Give it a try.

Solo Leveling is good, but it doesn't feel like anything new. Cliches are not always a bad thing, a manga/anime can be very cliche and still be amazing. Solo Leveling mixes two very common elements in anime, main character fighting for others, and RPG-style power systems.
