Synopsis

A giant tree popped up in the middle of the Atlantic ocean covering the world in a strange new radiation and because of it, people began to change. First, there are the Chosen. These super humans have only slight physical changes and yet can manifest amazing elemental powers. Next, you have the Infected. These humans have experienced large scale body changes which range from animal adaptations to simply grotesque body decomposition. Most are still normal and sane humans who attempt to adapt to life while being shunned by others. There are some however that have grown deranged and think themselves the rulers of the world. Our MC lives a somewhat lonely life while sometimes being accompanied by his rather senile yet kind grandfather. He has no idea where his parents went after they dropped him off a few years ago, so he has no choice but to stay here. He lives by the idea that he should just be air and not be noticed in the slightest. All of this goes ok until things start changing and Laz starts getting dragged around in many different directions. Welcome to a story of Gods, evolution, love, adult situations and basically bringing a bit of eastern fantasy to western civilization. Hope you enjoy the ride.

Defy The Alpha(s)

Two centuries after the Great War, peace between humans and werewolves was finally achieved, or so everyone believes. Werewolves reign like gods, and humans remain blissfully unaware of their true place in the new world order. To maintain this fragile balance, each year, a handful of "lucky" humans are selected from various districts to attend Lunaris Academy, a prestigious institution that promises glory, status, and a chance to mingle with the elite. Those chosen are hailed as the lucky few, destined to marry powerful alphas and rise as luna. This year, Violet Purple is among the chosen, much to everyone's surprise. For an orphaned girl adopted by a disgraced prostitute, this is a golden ticket to a better life or so she's told. But Lunaris Academy isn’t the paradise it’s painted to be. Everything Violet and her fellow humans have been taught is a lie. Humans are far from equal; they're pawns in a much larger game. The academy is nothing but a gilded cage, and the students are lambs led to slaughter, playthings for the alphas to toy with in their ruthless games. To make matters worse, Violet catches the attention of the most dangerous players in this game, the Terror Four: the Alpha of the North, Alpha of the South, Alpha of the East, and Alpha of the West. Each one is more dangerous, more twisted, and more powerful than the last. But even among themselves, the alphas are divided, each with their own deadly ambitions. Yet, they all have their eyes on her. They expect Violet to play along, to fall in line like the others who worship at their feet, to break under their games. But Violet isn’t like the others. She refuses to bow. She’ll defy them all.

In a small village, there was a boy named Jack. Jack was always eager to learn new things. His teacher told him about 'ask, seek, knock'. One day, Jack wanted to know more about the stars. So he asked the old astronomer in the village. The astronomer gave him some basic knowledge but told him there was more to discover. Jack then sought knowledge in books from the village library. He read and read but still had questions. So he knocked on the door of the local wise man. The wise man invited him in and shared with him ancient stories and knowledge about the stars. Jack was very happy as he had truly experienced the power of 'ask, seek, knock'.

One simple way is to create a character who has a goal. For example, a child wants to find a lost pet. First, they ask around the neighborhood if anyone has seen it. Then they seek in all the possible places like bushes, alleys, and backyards. And when they come to a locked shed where they think the pet might be, they knock on the door. If the owner of the shed is there, they open the door and the pet is found. This shows how each step of asking, seeking and knocking can lead to a solution in a story.

Once upon a time, there was a young girl home alone. She heard a knock at the door. When she asked 'Who's there?', a raspy voice said 'Death'. She was terrified but bravely opened the door. There was nothing there, but then she started seeing shadows moving around her. That night, she vanished without a trace.

Well, in a hide and seek children's story, children often hide in bushes. The thick bushes in the park or garden are perfect for hiding. Some might also choose to hide in small sheds or playhouses if there are any. And don't forget about corners. In a big room, a corner can be a good hiding spot.

A little girl was in her room when she heard a knock. 'Who's there?' she asked. A soft voice said 'The friendly ghost'. But when she opened the door, she saw a spooky face. It was just her cat with a mask on. It was a prank by her brother.
