If you just starting read this novel and don't know want to read the novel first or watch the live action first, i suggest you to watch the live action first. Live action and this Novel is too many difference and you can assume it as an Alternate Universe. If you read the novel until 1500++ then watch the live action, maybe you gonna dissapointed and annoyed because in Live Action too many OOT (Out of Character) and missing character or even combining 2 character into 1. But if you watch the live action first, this novel gonna give you lot of surprise because in novel had the detail (which is make everything clear) and more intense. TLDR; Novel : More Action and focused on the Detail Live Action : More Drama and focused on the Emotions of each character. (You can say the Live action is simple version of Novel and can be considered as alternate universe) *Sorry for my bad english
