This is a decent novel having "magic" in a modern society. Unfortunately like most such novels it suffers from some glaring plot holes. In the end I found the "trial 1" chapters to be very boring more than anything else, and coupled with the plot holes caused me to drop it at around chapter 140 even though I had been only skimming through those trial chapters. First off about the other reviews on MC and his personality. In my opinion it is quite good like a normal human, and you will have problems with that only if you prefer the psychotic MCs of modern chinese xianxia. Coming to the plot holes, the most glaring ones are those trials. Putting completely untrained teenagers, including just video gamers, in life and death scenarios in trial-0 (they would not really die though most participants don't know that) in a jungle against beasts and all is totally stupid. You will not filter out strong willed people like that, rather psychotic killers who have been killing since childhood. Also you see some upper world fellows abusing some "loophole" (though we are never told what that is) to enter the trials, yet the organizers do zilch about it nor invoke any deterrence. In other words, if not for the appearance of MC, the trials are just places for upper world fellows to cheat and sweep away, losing the whole point of the trials. The appearance of MC is also a cheat but let's ignore that. Then the second trial is even more stupid. Most participants have been training in the academy which is just regular studies, training and competitive fights but there is absolutely zero preparation for what they have in trial-1. So essentially these are again untrained teenagers put in this trial of "courage" or whatever. In real life the only result of such a trial will be creating fellows with deep traumas and unstable personalities, the kinds of which most modern armies will immediately expel. Lastly my pet peeve on such modern setups though most readers seem to prefer it. Swords, spears, bows in a super advanced Earth. Give me a break. By any standard of logic magic infused guns, snipers, explosives and all will be far far superior. Just shows lack of imagination in conceptualizing modern weapons with magic/cultivation stuff, let alone futuristic weapons. Authors seem to be just following the classic cultivation novels rather than thinking about what such a post modern setup can actually look like.

The use of symbolism is prominent. For example, the trial itself can be seen as a symbol of the individual's struggle against an incomprehensible and often oppressive system. Just like in modern society, people often face situations where they are judged by unseen and complex forces. The settings in the novel, like the labyrinth - like courtrooms, also symbolize the convoluted nature of modern bureaucracies and power structures. This makes 'The Trial' a quintessential modern novel as it delves into the alienation and powerlessness of the individual in the face of such systems.

It reflects the modernist theme of alienation. The protagonist in 'The Trial' is isolated from the world around him. He doesn't understand the trial process, and no one seems to be able to truly help him. This sense of being alone and lost in a complex system is a common modernist theme.

I'll recommend a few novels to you. " Longevity Begins from the Heavenly Constellation Thirty-six Transformations " was a Xianxia cultivation novel that was written with the most stable speed. The male protagonist, Jiang Li, had a miserable start, but he unexpectedly obtained the Thirty-six Transformations of Heavenly Constellation and the remains of Emperor Pan. All kinds of supernatural powers were extremely powerful. There were also many characters and events that happened in this year. It was super exciting. " Farming: Opening Space 100 Times Faster " was an urban novel written by Feng Yasong. Shen Yi obtained the mysterious farming space and opened the road to dominate the countryside. " The Religious Court of Inquiry " was written by the Eight-Budur. The main character grew up in a unique family and became a heretic in charge of the Heresy Court. The religious disputes in the story were super attractive. Although it was not updated, it was super good. " The Lord of Charm " was an ancient romance novel written by Underworld Killer. The female protagonist had a tragic past life, but her heart died and she became the Lord of Charm again. It ended at the end of December. Read more exciting novels for free

In the novel " Trial Space," the space created by the male protagonist could be expanded infinitely. If he pulled people in for the trial, would the trial-taker be able to retain the abilities of the trial after the trial ended?

According to the information provided, the recommended novel that met the requirements of the title was My Army of Transmigrators. The general plot of the novel was for the male protagonist to recruit members from different worlds and let them complete different trial missions. At the same time, the male protagonist could create an infinite space for them to train. According to the plot of the novel, the trial-taker would retain the ability of the trial outside the space. I hope you like my recommendation.😗
