the simulation has ended story

I enjoy simulation novels, but they are hard to get right a lot of the time. Unfortunately, this is one of the ones which got it wrong. The idea of the simulation is to basically give a brief speedrun of the simulated life which should only take up 1-2 chapters, giving interesting points which happened during that simulation, and then use that to progress the real life, but this fic does the opposite. The first two simulations weren't too bad, but were way too detailed to start with, but the third simulation spans like 60+ chapters of the story, which completely defeats the purpose, as nothing in the simulation is actually real it completely disconnects the reader from the story, towards the end of the simulation I was just scrolling through the chapters to see when it ended. I got up to chapter 107, and I think maybe 90-95 of those chapters were simulations. All the MC has actually done thus far is passed a single day in real life. In my opinion, this story isn't worth reading, because this isn't even a story, it's a simulation of a story which doesn't actually happen.

Doing a story with a Simulation System fanfic is hard, too long a simulation and the reader lose interest, too short or a useless simulation also disappoint the reader. In my opinion this story is one of those where the author lack common sense and wrote a fanfic with a boring simulation system. I tried till chapter 15 and dropped it.

I'm sure the author has never read a simulation novel. If he had, he would have realized that almost all the popular ones are short simulations, but they're mostly simulations. This story doesn't even need to write a simulation; just give it time powers and be done with it. Let him find himself in a different alternate universe at each turning point. Nobody wants to read a 60-chapter simulation story that doesn't add anything substantial to the main plot.
