The story is set in a modern setting with historical backgrounds here and there! It is comical how the main lead tries to adjust to the technologies of the modern world. We had only read stories with leads trying to match the current trends in the ancient era. What a nice change of perception the author is giving us!

This is the first time I've ever written a review for full score. Martial Arts Master is a touching and personal story about a young man's journey through modern life, in a world where cultivation and martial arts are not far-fetched, and nor exaggerated. It is set in a modern time where supernatural abilities are not fiction, but only condensed into the modern world setting. These abilities, seen in the story, are not without profound manipulation of physical laws, or they are of slight fantastical origin. In this world, martial arts from ancient China have passed down through the ages, merging with the technological trends of today. The story develops engaging characters and memorable rivals, set in contrast with a very personal world background. All this is told through excellent storytelling and great translations. This is a MUST read. I strongly recommend it.
