I love it the characters are unique and seeing the interactions of Joseph and Stella always make me chuckle. The magic system is original and complex while not being mind boggling difficult to understand and Joseph's slow progression and not becoming immediately overpowered is appreciated and allows more interactions between Joseph and everyone else in the novel is enjoyable 10/10.

I just have to say... I have a feeling that Conrad likes Nadia and Gwen knows about it. If I'm right about this, I just hope that the author won't force Gwen and Conrad to be together because that would be unfair to Conrad. Being inlove with your fiancee's bestfriend but cannot do anything because of an arranged marriage, even worse when the person you like ships you w/ someone else.
