I don't abide by political bull**** in my light novels. Lots of Japan hate. Could've used a fictional country with a fictional reason for animosity, and I'd be more inclined to continue reading it. Wolfy the translator does a bang up job. no errors in grammar and Wolfy places notes indicating that the story itself is to blame for a lot of the inconsistencies.
