Translation is TERRIBLE. Readable yes, but enjoyable? No, not at all. Of course you can get used to it but I don't want to. After finishing LoTM I just couldn't read this because it hurts knowing this novel could be so much better if the translation was done right. Couldn't read past chapter 8... Such a pity though, I did like the premise of the story. Of course if English is not your mother tongue the this won't bother you at all, since you can still understand most of what's going on. Still I'm surprised the translator is from Canada, did not expect this at all. Must be an immigrant.
