The author writes the story in a similar fashion to some Anime, manga, manhwa authors have followed the s Secret Acting MC and writes them to have the most asinine reasons to hide their abilities in an apocalypse setting, especially that of the walking dead which the character is knowledgeable of who is trustworthy (but continues to act like everyone is going to either turn into the fireflies from the last of or out right burn him on the post like the Salem witch trials.) The character design is simply Cid from Eminence in Shadow lying and hiding truths for no reason while acting innocent and manipulating those around him for convoluted reasons that make no sense given the setting, context, other characters, and better options for over 60 chapters. The world background is mashed potatoes in a dirt sandwich. From the get go the story is filled with plot holes and inconsistencies. The zombie apocalypse is in full swing with everything having collapsed and Shane being the first person to meet the MC before he goes to get Lori and Carl and joins the other group spending several days trapped in a building when he should have been been with Lori and evac'd with them before the bombing of the cities(the bombings are never mentioned nor how shane found Lori and carl and the other group members despite being several days late).
