See it’s novels like this that paint emotional and physical abuse, holding someone against their will, disregarding other human beings life and mental trauma as a prequel to a love story. I fail to understand how someone like this could ever be deserving of the love that he’ll get from the female lead. Don’t normalize abuse as a prequel to love even in fiction.
