To be honest, the genre is one of my favorite, a world going into apocalypse as the protagonist with/without memories of the future, prepares to survive and possibly thrive in the apocalypse, create a shelter/base and get stronger. The problem with your story is that he is getting wayy too advantages and things are too easy for him now, there are no stakes, just the level 1 ark seems too much, I don't even know what the upgrades will do, that said I will stockpile it for now and come back later
