This is one of the few fairly good web novels around with more than MC fighting everything on his own. Started out as a detective horror with a mild supernatural action in a mid-1800 world then later turned into a power action with elements of thriller and mystery plus detective. Overall it is a fun read but the translation could use a bit of editing. Perhaps the strongest point of the story is the magic system which is unlike anything I have ever read. It is so strange that it's is the whole reason why the story is interesting. I have to give this magic system an absolute 10/10 beating pretty much everything including some of the Newyork too selling urban fantasy novels.
