The World seems Realistic but Why do I have a Leveling System?

Sheila is an average girl who likes to play video games and watch animes in her free time. If there’s anything that stood out from her, that would be her beautiful appearance. Due to spending too much time playing video games till late at night, she would usually forget to do her homework which she would, later on, asked her best friend, Ria, for help. A total average gamer-otaku girl. Like any other day, Sheila was walking her way to school when suddenly the phone in her pocket vibrates. She pulled it out of her pocket to check with the expectation of seeing a new message, but the result was something that would change her entire life completely upside down. Leveling System, it was a mysterious app which suddenly appeared inside her phone. By using it, she could level up like the character in the game and become stronger. But what would an average girl do by becoming stronger? Not expecting to fight anything absurd in her daily life, Sheila slowly adapts to her new life of leveling up inside an instant dungeon. But out of nowhere, A goblin appeared in front of her somewhere in the alleyways. Where did it come from? Not knowing anything, Sheila ended up killing it. That night, She woke up to a nightmare where the world turned chaotic as monsters run rampage everywhere, it was a world where a weak human life was nothing but garbage, a world where strong prey the weak. She believes it was a premonition of what her future would be if she does nothing. Will she stand up and take responsibly to fight for others? Or would she be selfish and only fight for her loved ones? The fate of the entire world is on her hand. Acheron asks one of his adopted sisters. "They go to school, Lord Acheron," she says. "School? Will it be entertaining?" he asks, "It would at the very least be a new experience" she replies. He, who was there when the first Homo Sapiens migrated out of Africa and existed way before the wheel was created, will let nothing interfere with his daughter's last wish and will slaughter anyone that stands in his way. While the prose is clearly lacking and too simple, it still manages to gets the job done with it trying to captivate you in its characters, setting, and emotions. Pacing doesn't waste time introducing where it's heading and going for. A typical teen romance drama it is indeed. Characters are bit of an archetypes but can be built upon and have potential into becoming great characters. You also definitely feel for the MC. The story is nothing special and pretty much relying on genre formula and the typical established tropes with the execution being pretty similar in previous teen romance fiction. Will recommend to readers if you want another typical engaging teen romance fiction. PS: This review is only based on the first chapter.

There was no other way of posting this. I need to inform my readers that I had to change the genre of my novel from Realistic Fiction to Science Fiction. In Realistic Fiction you need to hover around reality like you write about a cancer patient and how he combats his health issues arising due to chemotherapy etc. This is close to reality. You cannot deviate to extremely imaginative situations. Realistic Fiction for did not give me much scope for my novel. Earlier, I could not change the genre but I finally managed to do so from Realistic Fiction to Science Fiction with the help of the mobile app. Now, I can write about many things which may not be possible now but may be possible in the future. If matter is truth, I do mention in the creator's notes.
