THE ORPHAN WHO BECAME QUEEN
At the age of three, Diana loses everything.
Her beloved parents are killed by a leopard while returning from their farm, leaving her completely orphaned. As the only child of the late Daniel, the younger brother of King Zara of Lala, Diana is taken into the royal palace and raised by the kind and powerful king.
For years, Diana believes she has finally found a family.
King Zara loves her like his own daughter. He gives her a good education, protects her, and provides everything she needs. But not everyone in the palace shares his love for Diana.
The king's five wives become increasingly jealous of the special affection he shows the orphan. As Diana grows into a beautiful, intelligent and hardworking young woman, their jealousy turns into hatred. They make her life miserable, but Diana refuses to become bitter. She continues to respect the king and serve him faithfully.
Then tragedy strikes.
King Zara suddenly dies.
Before Diana can recover from losing the only father she has ever known, she is accused of murdering him. Evidence is planted against her, and despite her desperate pleas of innocence, the people of Lala turn against her.
Diana is banished from the only home she has ever known.
With nowhere to go and no family to protect her, she is forced to survive by doing difficult jobs for strangers. She experiences hunger, loneliness, humiliation and years of suffering.
Just when she begins to lose hope, Diana meets Samuel, a kind and hardworking man who sees the goodness in her heart rather than the painful past she carries. Their friendship slowly turns into love, giving Diana a reason to believe in happiness again.
But Diana's story is far from over.
Years after her banishment, the truth about King Zara's death finally begins to emerge. The people of Lala discover that Diana was innocent and that she was framed because of jealousy.
The same people who once rejected her begin searching for her.
When Diana finally returns to Lala, she is no longer the helpless orphan who was driven away.
She returns as a strong woman, a loving wife and a survivor.
But an unexpected destiny awaits her.
The people of Lala want Diana to become their queen.
Will Diana forgive those who destroyed her life?
Can she rebuild the kingdom her beloved King Zara left behind?
And after everything she has suffered, can the orphan who once had nothing finally find the home she always dreamed of?
Sometimes, losing everything is the beginning of discovering who you were meant to become.
