It started out with a good few chapters. MC is made to become a chef because of his fake and overly harsh criticism of restaurants in his past life. New body is weakened because of underhanded backstabbing and has a daughter to take care of now. The system was quirky at first because it wanted the MC to become a chef with as little deviation in the MC’s journey until it was pigeon-holed into just being a machine that wants money. The daughter was cute, kind, and a little sassy in the beginning until that became her whole character. She will threaten anything and anyone about burning them alive and will give insulting nicknames to customer because she does not want to learn their names or because it has more than two syllables, she is never reprimanded because of nonsense about being too cute to punish or correct her behavior towards people and animals. A promising novel idea quite frankly ruined because there is no development in the character of short-cut taking MC or bratty daughter that will look for any excuse to burn someone alive.

I agree that the system and daughter's behavior is noteworthy but I don't think they are novel shortcomings. The system's greed made sense to me once I considered it was self aware and biased. The extra income of these side hustles allows the system to be more powerful than the design would normally allow. It found an exploit and spammed it like any sensible gamer would. Putting aside 'cute is justice', my initial reaction was spoiling her could create a monster. After some thought I realized not learning to use her power while closely supervised could lead to tragedy in a number of ways. Raising such a powerful daughter who liked to talk big and fight, but knew how to hold back based on her foes abilities is not a bad outcome.
