Unfortunately, this story is nothing like Long Live Summons. It is about a news editor who became a Void Traveler, traveled in the various worlds and absorbed the memories of other void travelers (the author tells the readers these in the first two chapters, so not a spoiler). Then he is summoned by a girl in a magic school, and the story starts from there as he solves her issues. I found the writing quite bland as the fantasy setting needs one to suspend disbelief, yet the author just tells things instead of showing how the events actually happen. It is readable, but nothing really stands out compared to other fantasy/ summoning novels.

LIKEIt's a pretty good novel... I found that it was good for the most part, then became a bit boring a good bit in and got good again when the mc arrived at some kind of a game-like place. It's a novel with a shameless mc, a shameless dog and a lot of summons, like a loli lamia and mysterious sword girl... Not sure how to describe it. It's all for the lulz, I guess? I did love it, even if I was really bored at one or two arcs.
Xamar:And what is Long Live Summons? Is it good then?
I totally agree that the harem in Long Live Summons is overboard (I personally dislike harem novels). I meant more in terms of world building and story development (another reader had specifically asked about this before I posted this review). The MC in this story is OP because he can access the views of other Void Travelers, and he uses this to help his summoner (kinda like what SenseiCrux said). The novel is quite readable- it's just that the story is rather average (for those who like summoner-type novels, they should go for this. It's better than Grand Shoujo Summoning, etc.).
Cuttime:As in...the MC is not an idiot harem protagonist who can only sometimes unleash huge powers, mainly when one of his girlfriend candidates is about to be raped/killed for very doubtful reasons?
Yeah, the summary was so vague. It literally described thousands of CN webnovels and has nothing to say for what it's about. Based on this↑actual synopsis, though, it's probably for the best since it seems dull compared to others
Efthee:and the qidian wants us to pay spirit stones(money) for this kind of sloppy synopsis....like atleast show some effort cmon
which chapter did he reach game like place?

And if his 'harem' lack the presence of awful girls, abusive girls..etc. I like when protagonists are conniving with being abused because the other party is pretty.
