Idk, maybe more than 250+ novel, i read LN, CN, KN, ect. I read novel before qidian site open and Ni Lie rank 1 on NU.

If you read Martial world till arou nd 1400 chapters then it is said that the Laws governing the world changed So im saying he might not be allowed to directly interfere and even if he does if the humans become reliant on his help they will become an inept species And the reason he took the best mage player is because to rank that highly he must have quick decision making, commitment, logical thinking and foresight Its been a while since i read this novel so not sure how this game worked in the world of the mc But if its VR then if someone can handle a mage that is supposed to communicate/command elements/law/concepts doing so with quick thinking and calm during fights then he must be not an ordinary person atleast in terms of mind he is higher specced than most
